Custom Address View and Entry System

The following are examples of several custom designed property entry screens, dispatch view screens, and run card printouts. Several systems were based on previous programs that the fire departments converted from.

Several Fire and EMS Departments dispatch incidents to different types of addresses. Because of this, information collected for each location can vary extensively. Example problems have been addressed with the Custom Preplan System:

• Data elements associated with an address range will not include utility shutoff information associated with a physical address record.
• Intersections do not usually have invalid information, but require the nearest hydrant.
• Commercial addresses include different data elements that residential addresses
• Direction narratives can be entered into box records. Data entry personnel can then access directions from one source.

Levittown Fire District - Custom Design Address Entry Screen

• Full conversion from original system. Configured to match field elements from original address screen.
• Fields include three sets of station directions for each address record that is accessed by street lookup.
• Includes building preplan data, shuts offs, exposures, invalids ect.
• Custom Run Card Printout includes directions absed on the name of the printer. Example, STA1 printer will include directions from station 1 to the incident location.
