General Inventory
The Inventory Module of RedAlert manages your general inventory and associated maintenance, and ties together the Apparatus, SCBA, and Hose Modules. The Inventory Module also links with the Bar-Coding Module to facilitate periodic inventory.

- Keeps a comprehensive record for each inventory item, including date purchased, service/inspection interval, vendor information, and serial numbers.
- Records location and compartmental location for every inventory item.
- Links with a bar coding (*19912*) system to assist in fixed assets management and exception reporting.
- Assign inventory to staff, truck, station or vendor
- Tracks inventory transfes by date, reason for move and who moved it.
- Tracks inventory being serviced by individual vendors.
- Searches and retreives inventory items regardless of inventory type. You can seach by item#, description, type, and location.
Assigns a service interval that will throw an alert flag when the inventory item needs service, on both the entry screen and the service deficiency reports.
