Member Call In System
The RedAlert Member Call-In module assists departments in complying
with the new guidelines specified by the Suffolk County Regional EMS
Council (REMSCO). This module is designed to reduce the number of mutual
aid requests, as well as lower your department's response time.
The module allows for members to call in at the time of an alarm and notify
the dispatcher electronically they are responding. The dispatchers do not
have to answer the phone; program automatically displays which members are
calling in and when.
Features
- Fully integrated with Dispatch System. Call In windows displays member's name, qualification, and date / time they called in. Window automatically displays when a member calls in.
- Utilized for Suffolk County Signal 3 and Nassau County Signal 32.
- Works with standard touch tone phones. Members can call from any phone to a designated phone line. Member simply dials phone number, enter badge number and then hit #. This 15-20 second process notifies the dispatcher they are responding.
- Optional integration with the Dispatch Caller Identification Module. This integration expedites the call in process. Members simply dial the designated phone line and hang up. The system knows their number from the Caller ID and notifies the dispatcher which member is responding.
- Caller ID integration allows for the displaying of phone number the members calling from, in situations when the dispatcher needs to cancel their response.
- Database keeps a long term running history of who called in.
- Easy to use voice prompts. Member simply enters badge or ID number and then hits #.
- Allows for single caller, multiple numbers per caller, or group call in.
